RETAILERS CELEBRATE PRIDE AT HOLYOKE MALL
How Retailers at Holyoke Mall Are Supporting LGBTQ+ Pride Month
HOLYOKE, MA- Holyoke Mall is proud to support the social consciousness put forth by retailers in the shopping center this month as they advocate for the LGBTQ+ community. Through various philanthropic apparel collections, these retailers celebrate LGBTQ+ Pride Month and contribute to creating a more inclusive and accepting world one purchase at a time.
American Eagle: Love is the message at American Eagle. This year, the store launched its AE X It Gets Better campaign which aims to inspire and support LGBTQ+ youth across the country. According to the company, 100% of the 2019 Pride Collection will be donated to the It Gets Better Project. #ItGetsBetter
Banana Republic: Banana Republic aims to inspire more love, courage, strength, and togetherness through their 2019 Equality Collection. Banana Republic will donate 50% of the purchase price of the Equality Collection to the United Nations Foundation in support of the UN Free & Equal Campaign for LGBTI equality. #BRLoveIsReal
DSW: Receive a Pride water bottle for $10 and rainbow laces for $5 with any footwear purchase. All proceeds from these purchases will benefit Be Strong, a student-led movement focused on empowering kids to stand up to bullying.
Express: Express the love and wear with pride. The Love Unites collection is now available in Express stores nationwide. For every Love Unites item purchased before July 15th, 25% if the net income will benefit GLAAD, a LGBTQ+ media organization, to support the LGBTQ+ community. #ExpressPride
Gap: Celebrating love all ways since 1969, Gap launches their Gap + Pride Collection and promises 15% of the collection’s sales to benefit United Nation Foundation in support of the UN Free & Equal Campaign for LGBTI equality.
H&M: H&M encourages shoppers to “stay true, stay you” in their new Pride X H&M collection. This year, the retailer will donate 10% of global sales from the collection to benefit the United Nations’ Free & Equal Campaign. #WorldPride2019
Hollister: Hollister celebrates love and pride with their Pride Collection featuring tanks, tees, swim, and more. The retailer will donate up to $25,000 in proceeds from the Pride Collection to GLSEN.
Hot Topic: Proclaim your pride at Hot Topic and shop a wide selection of apparel, accessories, and more. Earn Hot Cash and get $15 for every $30 spent and buy one get one 30% off almost everything as you shop the Pride Collection.
Lane Bryant: Lane Bryant encourages shoppers to “celebrate the curve in every rainbow” with their Love is Love, Pride Collection. To strengthen and encourage inclusivity in schools, 10% of Pride Collection proceeds will be donated to GLSEN.
Spencer’s: This month, Spencer’s celebrates equality. Shop their Pride collection featuring buy one get one 50% off on hats, tees, and drinkware as well as buy one get one 50% off jewelry.
Target: Show your pride with Target’s exclusive Take Pride Collection. In support of the LBGTQ+ community, Target donated $100,000 to GLSEN, an anti-bullying organization, in support of their mission of creating a safe and inclusive school environment. In addition to the collection, Target exclusively sells Pride by Harry’s, an iridescent razor kit, with 100% of the purchase price to benefit the Trevor Project. #TakePride
