The month of September focuses on emergency preparedness. Several organizations across the country will support emergency preparedness efforts this month and encourage Americans to take action.
As we know, not all emergencies are predictable and many emergencies happen without warning; such as weather related disasters and far too often home fires. Becoming aware of how to develop an emergency plan, when an emergency or disaster occurs, is an important step to take ahead of time, to keep you and your loved ones safe and healthy.
On September 9th, members from the Holyoke Board of Health, American Red Cross and Holyoke Community Emergency Response Team (CERT), will come together to provide information regarding emergency preparedness.
The Emergency Preparedness table will be located in Sears Court.
