Are you looking for something exciting and fun to do with your children this summer? Join us for Tykes Tuesday, held every Tuesday from 11am to 12pm on the Lower Level in Macy’s Court beginning June 28th through August 23rd. Our Tykes Tuesday summer program offers free fun and educational activities for children ages 12 and under. Activities include children’s performers, story time and more!

Wildlife on Wheels with Forest Park Zoo
June 28th | 11am | Lower Level in Macy’s Court
This event will feature an educational presentation with information about animals, their special adaptations, habitats, behavior, diets, and status in the wild. Animal visitors may include: mammals, reptiles, birds, amphibians, and arthropods.
Ed Popielarczyk’s Magical Moments
July 5th | 11:00 am | Lower Level in Macy’s Court
What’s better than a magic show? A comedic magic show! Join Ed Popielarczyk for a show that will leave you amazed and laughing. You don’t want to miss these magical moments.
Holyoke Read Aloud
July 12th | 11:00 am | Lower Level in Macy’s Court
Join us for story time featuring Holyoke’s Mayor Joshua Garcia, as well as representatives from the Holyoke Police Department and Holyoke Fire Department! The Holyoke Fire Department will also have their fire truck onsite for the children to explore.
We will also be joined by Links to Library and the Holyoke Public Library!
Story Time & Craft with the Children’s Museum of Holyoke

Join us for a dinosaur-themed story time and fun craft with the Children’s Museum to celebrate Holyoke’s history of prehistoric dinosaur fossils.

Health & Fitness with Planet Fitness

Kids will learn about the importance of health and fitness by discussing nutrition and demonstrating light exercises and stretches with Planet Fitness.

Magic Wings Butterfly Conservatory
August 9th | 11:00 am | Lower Level in Macy’s Court
Join Magic Wings Butterfly Conservatory for a special presentation during Tykes Tuesday. Come meet and learn about their butterflies and other exotic animals. Magic Wings is an 8000 square-foot tropical conservatory with nearly 4000 free-flying tropical and native butterflies from all over the world! They also have exotic reptiles, frogs, fish, birds & insects to see up close and personal.
We will also be joined by Dazzle Day Face Painters!
StoryWalk Adventures with the Boy Scouts of America, Western Massachusetts Council
August 16th | 11:00 am | Lower Level in Macy’s Court
Take part in StoryWalk Adventures with the Boy Scouts! StoryWalk is a unique and enjoyable way for children – and adults! – to enjoy reading. This activity will be held indoor and in place on the Lower Level in Macy’s Court. Participation from the audience is welcomed and encouraged.

Adventures at Altitude Trampoline Park
